My name is Chinny (yep, like ‘not by the hair of my chinny chin chin’) đ I’m a thirty-something old new mom with an intense love for print, color, and life. I live in New York City with my supportive husband and precious baby girl. A tech marketer by day and a sci-fi/urban fantasy geek, IG addict and vintage fashion lover by night. I’ve been privileged to call a number of countries home (UK, Nigeria, Ethiopia and US), however, I identify most with my African roots. Expect to see a lot of that on here đ
I’m also the very definition of a reluctant blogger. If you would believe it, I’ve had 3 blogs prior to this. I’m a storyteller at heart and I’ve always been drawn to beautiful imagery but I’ve always been reluctant to put myself out there….this is me finally deciding to take a leap and blogging properly. No hiding behind pseudonyms, no writing about topics that don’t interest me, no hiding faucets of my personality – this will be my lil corner of the internet for sharing topics and connecting with like-minded folks. What topics you might ask? Fashion and style (expect colorful vintage-inspired looks), a peek into my daily life ( friendship, love, baby, and life in the big apple!) and finally, sharing insights from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on pretty much any topic under the sun (expect the occasional book review or two ;)).
